Statistical genetics is a currently rapidly evolving field, which provides very advanced and often multi-step statistical procedures in combination with generally large amounts of data, enabling inference and prediction of the highly complex reality of the evolutionary and ecological natural systems that surround us.
The theoretical and computational contexts, as well as, basic assumptions of the different approaches – from quickly computed summary statistic to parameter-rich model and algorithm – require in-depth knowledge of and experience with determining and assessing the necessary prerequisites for their application, suitable sampling designs, as well as, the parameter settings of the employed algorithms.
In this context, Statistical Genetics is offering independent advice on analyses and results, as well as, project development and support for scientists with different research foci and, specifically, users and stakeholders with applied objectives.
