Statistical Genetics contributed comments in August 2020 to the peer review process of the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework that will guide the work of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity over the next 30 years to the 2050 vision of “Living in harmony with nature”.
The submission proposes two new indicators for the post-2020 monitoring framework to SBSTTA-24. Additional information for the proposed new indicators is provided under the following links

- Number of species with population-genetic reference datasets
The reasons for the proposal of the new indicators and the context in which they are proposed, are described here.
The submission to the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity can be accessed from their website.
